ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND TIMING FOR THE ASSESSMENT
For your child to qualify for the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment, they should be five years old by September 1st of the current year. A lot of parents opt to take the KRA in the spring or early summer to evaluate their child's strengths and weaknesses ahead of the start of school in the fall. Some parents who are interested in our KRA might be worried about their child's pre-academic skills development compared to their peers in preschool, while others may want to help their child get ahead in learning kindergarten concepts during the summer.
